Welcome To The Lighthouse!

Lighthouse Children's Ministryis a special place for kids of all ages-from infants through sixth graders. Staffed by a group of committed, enthusiastic volunteers and staff, we strive to enrich the lives of our kids using fun and creative learning tools. We regularly share biblical truths and inspiring Christ-based ideas with our children so that they grow up knowing, beyond any doubt, how much God loves them and how very special they are in God's sight. As our Mission suggests, "Lighthouse Children's Ministry guides kids to Christ and teaches them to reflect and shine in God's light."

God calls us to reach out to others and we do this with special events, seminars, missions, and service projects. We offer a Vacation Bible School program each summer, Jingle Jam Christmas Camp, Kid's Night Out events, and various missions outreaches throughout the year. Each activity has a service component that allows the kids to do something tangible to help others in our own backyard and around the world. Our Family Foundations ministry hosts seminars to enrich and strengthen families in in our community. Based on Matthew 20:38 "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many," and Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," we show kids that they can and do make a difference in this world.

4 years of age through 6th grade

Special Early Bird rates before July 6!

$50 per child (morning program);

$95 per child (stay and play until 3 p.m.)

We're teaming up with UW Sports Ministries to present a spectacular sports camp! The "Beyond The Gold" theme takes a look at five key disciplines: teamwork, perseverance, respect, sacrifice, and strategy and uses Bible stories and sports examples to make them applicable to kids in their own lives. Our youngest campers will join together on Team 45; and our 1st through 6th graders will choose from three exciting tracks: Basketball, Cheerleading, or Focus-5!

Children's Ministry Programs

Lighthouse Children's Ministry welcomes children from infant through sixth grade to join us for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. Our classes are divided according to age and children graduate to new levels in June of each year.

Starfish Nursery -- Infant to 2-years
Guppy/Turtle Classroom -- 2- to 3-year-olds
Dolphin Bay Classroom -- 4-year-olds through Kindergarten
The Dock -- Grades 1 and 2
Waverunners -- Grades 3 and 4
JC Surf Club -- Grades 5 and 6

Other Programs -- The Lighthouse hosts Indian Hills camp for kids third through sixth grade, presents an enriching Vacation Bible School program each July, JINGLE JAM Kids Camp as a special celebration of Jesus' birth in December, and various other fellowship opportunities. These include Kids Night Out, occasions to sing and participate in our family church services, and service projects
